I love shooting portraits and I have gotten so much better within the past year. I shot senior pictures for my sister Audrey the other day. They turned out absolutely gorgeous. See for yourself :] :

In my Photojournalism class we had to do a photostory for our final. I documented Alex West, a senior in high school, who does cross country competitive jumping with her horse Bailey. The photostory is about Alex, her relationship with her horse, and the work they do together to prepare for their upcoming competition. The following photos are my favorite from our shoots, 9 of them were narrowed down and produced into a magazine layout  for class. Unfortunately that project is an indesign document an I don’t know how to share it. Anyway, enjoy.

The Student Activities Board at UK brought Jason Mraz and Anya Marina during finals week this year. Jason very chill and really nce, also small. Why are celebrities so small? It’s crazy, anyway. Picture candy for you from the show.

Back in January the Student Activities Board sponsored a balloon glow and lit up the sky on campus. I spent the evening with one of the balloonists, heres what I captured.

Danceblue was one of the most challenging and most amazing experiences of my life. 24 hours of dancing, no sitting AT ALL, to support pediatric cancer research FTK (for the kids).

605 Dancers, 24 hours, $600,888.82 raised for pediatric cancer research and the UK oncology center. 

I didn’t take my camera because I didn’t want to dance with it so I borrowed Flynn’s digital camera. These aren’t the highest quality but they are from a dancers perspective, just a small glimpse into the experience and I wanted to share them. It was a day that could change your life. I was SO proud to be apart of it and I made it then entire 24 hours!!! Enjoy. :]
